XII Polish Shorin-Ryu Karate Championships were held on 31 March 2012 in the Lodz Sports Hall, on Skorupki Street. Our company was one of the main sponsors of the event. The honorary patronage of the championships was taken by the Embassy of Japan in Poland, the Marshal of Lodz and the Mayor of Lodz.

The sports competition was combined with the presentation of Japanese culture and military units from the Lodz region.

Many attractions were provided during the event: an exhibition of Japanese kimonos, dolls, handicraft items and products from rice straw, “Suibokuga” – the exhibition of Japanese ink painting, a calligraphy exhibition, origami workshops – the art of paper folding and “Kyudo” – the Japanese art of archery shows.
There was also a very interesting conference: “Polish-Japanese relations. The impact of culture on business relationships.”

The military units presented mementos and photographs related to the history of peacekeeping missions, prepared by members of the Association of the Veterans of the UN Peacekeeping Missions in Lodz.
